Rabid village dog euthanized (Anchorage Daily News)

A husky-mix dog that tested positive for rabies after biting its trainer was euthanized in Anchorage on Sunday, according to the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. The animal had been transported to town on Feb. 16 from an unnamed village in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta after a rabid fox there bit several dogs, state officials said.

ALABAMA Rabies Law

Alabama pet owners not wanting their state to be the only one in the country with an annual rabies booster requirement for dogs and cats have begun requesting their Legislators to change the law to conform to the national 3 year standard.
