LIBERTY – After more than a decade, township police are in the market for a dog. Police Chief Richard Tisone said Liberty’s dog will be trained to sniff for drugs and track people. He plans to make the request at the trustees monthly meeting Monday. The department’s last dog, Valor, was sold for a dollar in 1997 to his handler, Officer Jim Smith.
