A couple weeks ago we blogged this item from Medical News Today , about a saliva test for rabies. As we always do on medical stories, we check into what the veterinary community is saying, and all seemed OK there. And then we try to put the news into context, in this case what such a test would mean if brought to market. That’s pretty much how the discussion went: The cost of the proposed test, how many lives (human and animal) is might save and so on. And then we moved on to the next thing.

My intentions were to work on the next assignment for my “Lit Star Training” course. (I signed up back in November, before my income nose-dived.) But a steady stream of interruptions has prevented that from happening this morning.I am three surf sessions and a half-dozen mental essays behind in my blogging.
