Hiking with Mia in the Montana Woods

It was going to be a normal hiking weekend with my Border Collie dog, Mia. The plan was to do a 10 mile hike and sleep overnight on the trail. I packed all the regular gear – tent, backpack, sleeping bag, food for me, food for Mia, and a bunch of other random supplies. One thing I didn’t pack though – was rain gear.
