Mississauga-based Menu Foods is slowly recovering from a pet food recall two years ago that virtually crippled the business. The pet food maker said it lost $3.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2008, a much better figure than the fourth quarter of 2007, when it lost $23.9 million.
