Works extremely well on kitty urine. Some situations require multiple treatments but the smell to humans is usually gone. Kitties can still locate the accidents in some cases. Definitely the best product on the market for kitties.

4 Stars Cleaned the cat pee but did not deter repeat offenses
Our young cat pees on anything new. The Urine Off has a pleasant Febreeze-like smell unlike some of the other cleaners that were almost worse than the cat pee. I will say that I don’t exactly find it as pleasant as I used to since I now associate the smell with cat pee, but friends and neighbors won’t at least. You need a lot of the stuff, though. I mean a lot. Don’t think you can just spray a little down. You need to pour because it has soaked down into the carpet and padding and subfloor or well into the innards of your furniture. The uv light that came with the tiny spray bottle I first got at an area pet retailer does a good job of locating the spots in very dark conditions, but you will need a much larger bottle than that unless your cat has been very discriminating in his inappropriate peeing. You’re also going to need some way to get it back up from the carpet after it dries. So you’ll either need a friend who doesn’t mind repeatedly loaning his/her carpet cleaner or consider the investment yourself. My mom’s getting a little irritated with the borrowing. I’ve ordered another gallon and hope it arrives soon. Since it does NOT seem to stop repeat soiling for me, I’m on to cat attract litter to see if that works.

5 Stars This WORKS!!!
For years, I have searched for a product that can truly work to remove cat pee from the carpet in areas where it is not practical to remove the carpet. Some products claim to work but are not very effective. Urine Off does work. I have used the Urine Off on parts of the carpet where my cat really soaked the carpet with pee and it no longer has any sign that the cat had peed there — no smell and no stain. The affected area, when you wet it with the Urine Off, can smell worse for a few days but this is due to the moisture. Be assured that the enzymes are at work and the smell will go away. I usually thoroughly soak the area with Urine Off, rub it in and then cover it with the plastic backed mattress pads that people use on children’s beds (with the plastic facing the carpet). After about a week or so, remove the cover. It may take a month for the enzymes to completely do their job but the smell will not come back unless your cat pees again in the same spot.

I have a cat that has urinated on the carpet in four different places we’ve lived–most recently in the living room of my new apartment. In the past, I tried many different sprays and concoctions in combination with spot cleaning my carpet to eliminate the odor, but nothing has ever worked for more than a day or so. This time I purchased Urine Off because I saw several people online had recommended it. I spot cleaned the carpet with my Bissell and sprayed Urine Off on it, and the embarrassing and irritating smell I hadn’t been able to mask was gone the next day and I haven’t smelled it since. To me, this is a miracle.

works well,but needed to use twice. get enough to make sure you dont need to order more and have to wait. spray bottle a must.first application i did pour it on to get padding under carpet. black lite helped for that. spray bottle for 2nd app.
